Aderet is a New York City–based singer-songwriter crafting cinematic, story-driven music rooted in emotional precision and psychological depth. Self-taught on guitar and piano, she writes with a strong visual sensibility, building songs around narrative, atmosphere, and character rather than genre.

Often described as Americana, her work draws influence from 1970s culture, the open road, and French New Wave cinema. Her songwriting gravitates toward emotional tension and moral gray space, examining power, vulnerability, and the unseen histories that shape human behavior.

She is particularly drawn to the tensions that exist in between the lines: who causes harm, why they do, and whether those wounds were inherited long before they were passed on. Real-world textures such as trains, rain, and a struck match are woven into her recordings, grounding each song in lived experience.

Aderet currently performs solo on guitar or piano, delivering intimate, narrative-focused sets that place lyrics and restraint at the forefront. Her debut singles arrived in the Spring of 2025, marking the first chapter of an evolving, sonic & cinematic body of work with a clear and singular artistic vision.
